RidePerk legal
Terms of Use
RidePerk is in closed alpha. By using the demo or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms.
1. What RidePerk Is
RidePerk is an AI-powered safety analysis tool. It listens during rideshare trips and alerts you to potential safety concerns by analyzing audio in real time. It is a supplemental safety tool, designed to give you more information and options when something feels wrong.
It is not a replacement for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
2. What RidePerk Is Not
- Not a guarantee of safety. AI analysis can produce false positives and false negatives.
- Not a real-time emergency response service. Alerts go to contacts you configure, not directly to emergency services.
- Not a substitute for calling emergency services when you are in danger.
- Not a replacement for your own judgment about whether a situation is safe.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for obtaining any required consent from others in the vehicle where your jurisdiction requires it. Some regions require all parties in a conversation to consent to being recorded.
- You must be 18 or older to use RidePerk.
- You agree not to use RidePerk to monitor others without their knowledge or consent.
4. Limitation of Liability
RidePerk is in closed alpha. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed detections, false positives, technical failures, or any harm arising from reliance on RidePerk in place of emergency services.
5. Changes to These Terms
We will notify waitlist members by email of any material changes to these terms before they take effect.
